Live stream

One button for the family who cannot fly in.

Paste the YouTube Live link on the muhurtham card. Before the day it says Watch live; during the ceremony it says Live now and plays inside the invitation; after, it serves the recording. Zoom and Meet links work too. Included on every plan.

  • YouTube plays inside the page
  • Live now switches on by itself
  • Zoom and Meet supported
  • Included on every plan

How it works

  1. Ask your videographer for a YouTube Live watch link, or schedule one yourself (unlisted).
  2. In the editor, open the ceremony that will be streamed and expand Live stream. Paste the link; add a note like Streamed from 6:15 AM IST.
  3. Guests see a Watch live button on that card. In the event's time window it becomes Live now with a red dot, and the stream plays inside the invitation.

Live preview — scroll it like a guest would.

Why inside the invitation

Relatives abroad are opening the invitation at 6 AM IST — 7:30 PM in New York — half-awake and on a phone. They should not be searching WhatsApp for a second link. The stream lives on the card they already have, under the ceremony it belongs to, with the time in the note.

Etiquette that helps

  • Keep the stream unlisted, not public.
  • Send relatives abroad a message with the time in their zone and a reminder the evening before.
  • Ask the videographer for audio from the hall's sound system — phone mics make mantras sound like wind.
