Everything an Indian wedding invitation needs

Indian weddings are not one event. They are an engagement, a mehendi or nalangu, a muhurtham at 6:30 in the morning, and a reception the same evening — often at two venues. A digital wedding invitation has to hold all of that without becoming a wall of text.

Ours does it with event cards: each ceremony gets its own date, time, venue, Directions button, Add to calendar button, catering note and — if you want it — a live-stream link. Guests scroll a story, not a schedule.

How it opens

Every design begins with an intro — a kolam drawing itself under a temple arch, black letterbox bars opening on your photo, or a single line revealing your names — then the invitation unfolds: who is inviting, the couple, the ceremonies, photos, a countdown, a blessing wall, and a finale where the couple's portraits glide together to welcome the guest.

Live preview — scroll it like a guest would.

Built for WhatsApp and Indian phones

  • Opens inside WhatsApp's browser on any phone — no app, no download.
  • A preview card with your names and colours shows before the link is tapped.
  • Personalised links: share with a name and the invitation opens with "Dear Ravi Uncle & family".
  • A QR code for the printed card, so the paper invitation opens the animated one.
  • Tested on mid-range Android phones on slow connections.

What families change after sending

Venues move. A muhurtham window shifts by half an hour. A reception gets a new hall. With a printed card or a video, that means resending to everyone. With your invitation link, you open the private edit link from your email, change it once, and the invitation on every guest's phone shows the new details.

Three designs, every feature

South Indian Traditional — kolam, gopuram arch, temple gold, Cinzel capitals. Cinematic Couple — letterbox, film grain, your photo full-bleed. Minimal Luxury — white space, one drawn line, serif names. Every design includes every feature; pick the mood, then choose from twelve colour palettes and ten fonts.

Free to build. Pay once, only when you share the link.

FAQ

How long does it take to make?

About five minutes. The form is prefilled with a complete sample invitation, so you replace names, dates and venues and watch the preview update. Your link is live the moment you pay.

Do guests need an app?

No. The invitation is a normal link that opens in WhatsApp's built-in browser on any phone.

Can I add more than one ceremony?

Yes — unlimited events. Engagement, mehendi, sangeet, haldi, muhurtham, reception, each with its own venue, timings, directions and catering note.

What if the venue or time changes?

Open the edit link from your email, change it, save. The same link updates for everyone — nothing to resend.

Can relatives abroad watch the wedding?

Yes. Paste a YouTube Live link on the muhurtham event and a Watch live button appears; it switches to Live now automatically and plays inside the invitation.
