Telugu wedding invitation

A Telugu wedding invitation — pelli pathrika — for WhatsApp.

Pelli koduku and pelli kuthuru, the muhurtham with jeelakarra-bellam, talambralu and the reception — each ceremony on its own card with directions, a live stream for family in the US and the Gulf, and a temple-gold design.

  • Live in five minutes
  • Every ceremony with directions
  • Live stream for family abroad
  • One-time payment, hosted for a year

How Telugu families use it

Telugu weddings are two or three days of ceremonies, often at a kalyana mandapam or a convention hall in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur or Visakhapatnam, with a large diaspora in the US and the Gulf watching live. The invitation lists the muhurtham with its exact time — families take the jeelakarra bellam moment seriously — and increasingly a YouTube Live link. The South Indian Traditional design's arch and kolam suit a Telugu invitation; Telugu script names render in Noto Serif Telugu style fallbacks and English names in Cinzel or Cormorant. Add the pelli koduku and pelli kuthuru as morning events on the day before, the muhurtham with its window, and the reception with a dinner note.

The ceremonies, each on its own card

  • Nischitartham (engagement)
  • Pelli Koduku / Pelli Kuthuru
  • Muhurtham — Jeelakarra Bellam, Mangalya Dharana, Talambralu
  • Reception

Every card carries the date, time, venue, a Directions button, Add to calendar, an optional catering note and — for the ceremony relatives abroad will watch — a Watch live button that goes live by itself.

Live preview — scroll it like a guest would.

FAQ

Can I show the muhurtham time to the minute?

Yes. Enter the time in the Auspicious time field — 10:45 AM, or a window — and it appears under the date and on the ceremony card.

Can family in the US watch live?

Yes. Add a YouTube Live link to the muhurtham event; the Watch live button switches to Live now automatically and plays inside the invitation.

How do guests open it?

As a normal link in WhatsApp — it opens in the built-in browser on any phone, no app or download. A preview card with your names shows before it is tapped.

What does it cost?

One payment, no subscription. Plans start at $3 with every feature above; Photos & Music and Video are the two plans above it, and a Save the Date is credited in full when you upgrade. A year of hosting and unlimited edits are included.

Can I change details after sending?

Yes — open the edit link from your email, change anything, save. The same link updates for everyone.
