Reception invitation

The reception invitation for the bigger list.

Colleagues, neighbours, the extended circle — the evening reception often has the longest guest list and the simplest needs: where, when, and is dinner served. One animated page answers all three, with a map and a calendar button.

  • Venue, timing, dinner note
  • Directions and parking
  • Personalised links for every family
  • One-time payment

Why a separate reception invitation works

Many families send the full wedding invitation — muhurtham and all — to close relatives, and a reception-only invitation to the wider circle. It is polite (nobody is invited to a 6:30 AM ceremony they cannot attend), and it keeps the reception page focused: the couple, the evening, the hall.

What guests need on a reception invitation

  • Time, clearly — "from 6:30 PM" or a window if there is a stage programme.
  • Dinner — say it. "Dinner will be served" changes how families plan the evening.
  • Directions — a Directions button that opens the right pin, plus a parking or landmark note.
  • A photo — the reception invitation is the one guests forward; a couple photo at the top makes it feel personal.
  • Catering note — veg, non-veg or both, with a few highlights if you like.

FAQ

Can I send different invitations to different guests?

Yes. Build two — one with the muhurtham and reception for family, one reception-only for the wider list — each is its own link. Or build one and share it with everyone.

Does the reception invitation show the couple's photo?

On the Photos & Music plan, yes — a couple photo at the top and a gallery. Bride and groom portraits are on every plan.

Can guests add it to their calendar?

Yes. Every event has an Add to calendar button that works on iPhone and Android.
